Food Plant Modulars can be skid mounted, 12 ft. wide by 24 ft. long by 12
to 13 ft. high (3.65 m x 7.31 m x 3.65 to 3.95 m), requiring only 288 sq. ft. (26.7 sq. m) of floor
space. All freezer units are equipped with fan and coil evaporators installed.
The outside finish is baked white enamel galvanized steel or 304 stainless steel.
Inside walls contain 3.5 to 10 inches (8.9 cm to 25.4 cm) of expanded polystyrene
(EPS) insulation, finished with 304 stainless steel on all interior walls and ceilings.
The insulation material is free of ozone damaging CFC materials. The floor
surface is heavy duty galvanized or stainless steel. The roofing is single-ply all
weather.
All modulars include lighting and electric
panels, and are pre-wired ready for remote hook-up to owner's utilities. Several
options are available, including floor drains, basic plumbing, showers, lockers, fixtures,
cabinets, water heaters, electric heating and air conditioning.
Floor space of several modulars can be doubled to 24 ft. by 24 ft. (7.31 m x 7.31 m) by
modifying an interior wall and connecting two like modules. Offices, laboratories,
restrooms and locker rooms are also available in the optional size or 12 ft. by 12 ft.
(3.65 m x 3.65 m). Food Plant Modulars' engineers and management
team have extensive experience in the food processing industry, and can custom design all
modulars to meet the unique operating requirements of most companies.
